Design Information
Lost & Found is East Nashville’s newest open-air hangout – part market, part food-and-drink destination, all local.
The cascading buildings and open gathering spaces are ideal for wandering around, meeting up, or just lounging.
Readymade designed a district-based wayfinding system corresponding to the built environment.
The system spans identification, orientation, directional, and regulatory sign types – making it easy to know where you are, where to go, and what to do.
Hand-painted speckles introduce texture and a human touch – softening the industrial materials.
Iconography extends the graphic language – purposeful, straightforward, and consistent.
Layered panels create liminal depth, and allow die-cut elements to reveal an unexpected pop of color.
A stencil typeface and a mechanical counterpart reinforce the site's warm, utilitarian environment.
